Inner Gold: Tressa Sularz
Inner Gold: Tressa Sularz is a solo exhibition of fiber art at White Bear Center for the Arts. The exhibition is on display from Monday, July 10 through Friday, August 11, 2017. The opening reception is Thursday, July 13, 6:30-8:30pm.
The exhibition will include her new work as well as selected pieces from the artist's previous work.
The artist will give a talk at 6:30-8:30pm, Thursday, August 10. A video portrait of the artist by Mike Hazard will also play. The artist will demonstrate her unique twining techniques on Tuesday, July 18, at 9:30am-12 noon.
“Inner gold is the highest value in the human psyche. It is our soul, the self, the innermost part of our being. It is us at our best, our gift to ourselves. Everyone has inner gold. When I speak about gold in this way, I am speaking about the mystery.”
